Terms of Service
Last updated 11 September 2026
These terms cover your use of the GEOPass API and dashboard. Creating an account means accepting them.
Your account and your keys
You are responsible for what is done with your API keys. Treat them as passwords: they carry your quota and your billing. If one leaks, revoke it from the dashboard — revocation takes effect on the next request.
One person or organisation per account. Do not share a login.
Plans and quota
Each plan includes a number of lookups per month: Trial 500, Starter 10,000, Pro 50,000, Business 100,000.
The allowance renews each month on your billing date — the day of the month your subscription started, when you are charged — and unused lookups do not carry over. An account without a subscription renews on the day of the month it was created. Once the allowance is spent, requests are refused until it renews, unless you move to a larger plan or buy a pack of extra lookups.
A lookup we cannot answer is not billed: malformed and private addresses are rejected without drawing on the quota, and a lookup that fails at the upstream provider is refunded.
Packs of extra lookups can be bought separately. They are drawn on only once the monthly allowance is spent, they carry over when it renews, and they expire twelve months after purchase. They are not refundable once used.
Payment
Paid plans bill monthly in advance through Stripe, in US dollars, until cancelled. You can change or cancel a plan at any time from the billing page; a change takes effect immediately and Stripe prorates the difference.
Cancelling stops the next renewal. It does not refund the current month, and your allowance stays available until that month ends.
If a payment fails we will retry it. Access continues while Stripe is retrying, and drops to the free allowance if it finally fails.
What you may not do with the data
The location and network data we return is licensed from an upstream provider and passed to you for your own use — fraud and abuse decisions, analytics, routing, and the like.
You may not redistribute it in bulk, resell it as a dataset, or build a competing IP-intelligence database out of it. Using the API to abuse, harass, or unlawfully track a person is prohibited, as is any use that breaks the law where you operate.
What the data is, and is not
IP geolocation is an estimate. A city or a set of coordinates describes where an address is registered or routed, not where a person is, and the answer can be wrong or stale. Privacy signals — datacentre, anonymous origin — are likewise best-effort judgements from our upstream provider.
Do not use this data alone to deny someone access to something that matters, to make a legal determination, or in any decision where being wrong causes real harm.
Availability
We aim to keep the service up and to keep it fast, but we do not currently offer a service level agreement or an uptime guarantee on any plan. The service depends on an upstream provider that can itself fail, and it is billed at a price that reflects that.
We may change or withdraw the service. If we withdraw it, we will give account holders at least 30 days notice by email and refund any unused part of a paid month.
Suspension
We may suspend an account that is not paying, that is abusing the service or the data, or that is putting the service at risk for everyone else. Where circumstances allow we will tell you why and give you a chance to fix it first.
Liability
The service is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Changes and contact
We will email account holders before a material change to these terms takes effect. Questions go to iyoulord1@gmail.com.
These terms are governed by the laws of Thailand.
